To be honest, I’ve always been all about meal prep. It’s only now though, that I’ve created a tool that will also help YOU meal prep! I’ve been doing this for years. As a blogger, you kind of have to, or else you end up being all over the place an not organized. Structure and method really help me. You can download the PDF by clicking the image below.
Write Down Inspirational Recipes
First, what I do is throughout the week, I’ll write down dishes that inspire me. It might be from a restaurant I ate at recently, or something that popped up in my instagram feed that looked good. I also keep a word doc of the “staple” dishes that the Hubbs and I love. That helps fill in the gaps where we just have no idea what we want to eat for the week. It doesn’t have to be elaborate either. It just helps to have your meals all straightened out for the week, freeing up space in the brain for more important tasks, like work, or …. REST!
Make Your Grocery List In The Kitchen
It also helps to do this in the kitchen, so you can gain some inspiration, and use the produce or pantry items that you already have, making your grocery list smaller. If you’ve got a lot of zucchini for instance, you can make zucchini bread, or a frittata loaded up with zucchini, or panzanella salad!
I’ve added a second page where you can list the dishes you’d like to make, and an area for your grocery list to make said dishes. I like listing the things I have already too, either in the fridge or the pantry, so I know I don’t have to buy those things.
Without further ado – here are some recipes that I’m making this week. You can always use the search, or menu bar to get some ideas here too!
I really hope you enjoy this pdf! Let me know if you use it, and what you like/dislike about it. Enjoy!
