Well hello fine folks! I have some very exciting news for you beer geeks out there. One of my favorite breweries, Ironfire Brewing Company, in Temecula is expanding! They opened up a new tap room, and I was invited out to their Friends and Family Soft opening this past Wednesday.
Ironfire’s beer is amazing. The Hubbs and I live in Moreno Valley, and continually make the 45+ minute drive just to hang out at Ironfire. The people are so friendly, and the beer is just that good! I’m favoring hops right now, but even their wheat beers are fire! On this night, I indulged in 2-Hop Shakur which is an un-filtered, New England Hazy Double IPA. That one is my current favorite. Next, I went with their tried and true flagship IPA, 51/50. The beers we brought home included the 51/50, and Wheat Dealer, which is a wheat beer with pineapple. Normally I shy away from wheat beers, but this one is so full of flavor, it’s hard to deny!
If you’ve ever been to the brewery though, while aesthetically pleasing, with rows of barrels stacked high, and filled with aging beer, great glossy tables, and a siiiiick bar, can get packed very quick, especially on a busy night. When Aubree, beer-tender extraordinaire, told us that they were opening a new tap room in Old Town Temecula, which is just a hop, skip, and a jump away, we were incredibly excited!
The soft opening on Wednesday was awesome. There was plenty of room for the 50-60 people who showed up, and service was on point. Order, blink an eye, and the beer was in front of me! They’re continuing their soft opening this weekend, tonight until 10, and Sunday(tomorrow) from 12pm-6pm.
We did bring our growlers, but they’re not doing fills yet. They do have cans to go though!

Definitely DEFINITELY check them out. The beer is amazing, the people are friendly, the space is – well, spacious and inviting at the same time. You won’t be sorry! They are planning the grand opening to be sometime in June. Possibly in time for Father’s Day! In the mean time, here are the deets to get there:
Cheers!
