Holy crap, does time ever slip through the fingers! Here we are, in SEPTEMBER of 2017! It’s finally my birthday month, and while I wanted to show you all the DIY elements to our kitchen remodel before I revealed the final photos, I feel it’s finally the right time to share them with you. This kitchen was quite literally a dream come true. Ever since I started seriously cooking for myself, I’ve had a dream of a gourmet kitchen. In the beginning, it was just about having the tools to do it, but then after buying our own house, and developing my own personal style, it was time to go all in, gut our space, and start from scratch. This wasn’t something that happened overnight. The Hubbs and I spent countless hours going over details, planning, meeting with people, learning a few things along the way, and doing every possible thing we could in order to save a penny. In the end, not only did it all pay off, but we grew immensely as a couple. While it looks all pretty and dolled up now, it was the result of literally blood, sweat and tears. The good things in life are worth working hard for, and if these photos are any indication, we worked our ASSES OFF for quite literally, the most metal kitchen ever! I hope you enjoy these photos, and if you are going through a remodel yourself, or have any questions regarding the process, I’ll be happy to answer them! Drop me a line or leave a comment below.

It’s beautiful. I caught the link to you on FB thru Sub-Zero. I especially love the cabinet with pull-out for spatulas, utensils, etc. in canisters next to the stove. Brilliant. My husband and I will be building our home next year and this idea will absolutely be used.
